Hogmanay Celebration at William Trent House
Join the William Trent House Association on Saturday, December 31 from 2 to 3 p.m. to ring in the New Year the Scottish way! This free event is open to all ages and will be held outdoors in front of the William Trent House Visitor Center located at 15 Market Street in Trenton.
The celebration is held in honor of Scottish immigrant William Trent, the founder of Trenton. Hear bagpipers, listen to Scottish music, and enjoy lyrical stories, while dining on Scottish treats like shortbread and hot cider. The event will end with placing cards with your wishes for 2023 into a fire for good luck.
This is a rain (or snow) program. In the case of inclement weather, the event will take place indoors.
Although this is a free event, spacing is limited so advance registration is required by visiting www.williamtrenthouse.org/upcoming-events.html. Visitors should check their email the day of the event to determine whether the gathering will be indoors or outdoors.
