My moms dating a vampire

My mom dating a vampire? I had no idea what to think. For years, I've been told vampires aren't real, and here was my mom with one of them. I was scared and confused. How could she be dating someone who wasn't human?

At first, I was worried for my mom's safety. I thought about all the horror stories I'd heard about vampires. But then I asked myself, why should I be scared? After all, it was my mom who was in a relationship with one of them. Eventually, I decided to give them a chance and see how things would go.

My mother's vampire boyfriend was actually very nice. He was polite, kind and respectful of my mother's wishes. He even went out of his way to help her with her chores and be understanding of her schedule. I thought he was genuinely sweet, and slowly I began to feel a little less nervous around him.

He also assured me that he would never do anything to hurt my mom or myself; he wanted to make sure we were taken care of. When I wondered aloud if vampires drank human blood, he told me no, they didn't need to because they could get energy from other sources.

I'm not sure what will happen in the future but for now, it seems like my mom and her vampire boyfriend are happy together. They have been together for a few months now, and it's been a pleasant surprise to see that vampires can be just as kind and caring as any other person.
